Very interesting to taste the grape in non oxidative style. Kind of whimsical fruit, orange and lemon meringue, with a pretty gage plum sweet-tartness on the palate. Echo of the relation to gewurtzteaminer, principally in some emerging subtle floral perfumes. Great long acid, and dark mineral finish. Also reminiscent of good white Rhone but the tension is from acid, not minerals. — a year ago
