Wine #1400th for me. I suppose destiny is destiny. Sort of has a special way of it find you, not you find it. Finally was able to try this highly coveted wine and with some age. Great chard, fresh and crisp with hints of stone fruit and citrus plus an earthy finish. Cheers. — 2 months ago

Cherry liqueur, mineral spine. Vibrant acidity. You can smell the stem inclusion here. Quite nice. The cork smelled of TCA, but the wine was sound. Whew! Got lucky! — 4 months ago

Guessed this as a 2018 white burg. A successful blind by all accounts! Ripe, lush Chardy fruit (even a touch of pineapples) and excellent quality oak, all wrapped in a lively, saline package. Deceptively light at the start, but air does bring out quite a bit of texture and power. For me, certainly a wine of its soil (white clay on limestone) and vintage, once revealed. Delicious, although I did find it a tad heavy at the end of the night. — 8 months ago
