I thought this was a well-balanced and delicious pinot, despite being a wine of the vintage. Started with a bit of reduction and a touch of wood on the nose, which quickly blew away to reveal red fruit and spice aromas, lifted by a tinge of volatile acidity. On the palate - medium-bodied, chalky tannins, sweet fruit intensity, and a medium finish that stretches quite a bit of power with notes of plum and dark chocolate, but all balanced with fresh acidity.

Red fruits, well balanced, just a hint of spice and forest. Excited to see where this goes from here
