Red fruits, cherry, red fruits, cherry. Breeding note, leather, tobacco, cedar, vanilla, pepper. Smoked character, charcoal, mineral, Soft and lively mouth with a pint of sweetness. Very nice wine.

On the paper, sounds like a dream: jura + savagnin + maceration.
Really not disappointed but I would have never guess that direction if tasting blind.
More friendly than your usual savagnin. Slightly fizzy. Good structure. Lack a bit of minerality and freshness. Not totally dry. Almost remind me more of some riesling on the skin!

A “Super Tuscan” from Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.
18 months in French oak with very little new oak.
Red and dark fruit with red currants and black cherries. Savoury and herbal with spicy notes and crisp acidity on the finish but still maintaining texture.
The wine maker is Severine Pinte and she is heading sister wineries at LaStella and Le Vieux Pin in the Okanagan.
