On the paper, sounds like a dream: jura + savagnin + maceration.
Really not disappointed but I would have never guess that direction if tasting blind.
More friendly than your usual savagnin. Slightly fizzy. Good structure. Lack a bit of minerality and freshness. Not totally dry. Almost remind me more of some riesling on the skin!
Clearly for maceration educated, not sure I’d start here otherwise... — 7 months ago
Orange wine. Lovely and light and funky and freaky in all the right ways. Super drinkable. From the juras, zev rovine — a year ago
Super delicious. Lots of berries with a savory element that is rocking my world. — 5 years ago
A big, rich, fatty Poulsard that’s both utterly typical and not plagued with the weedy reduction that can dampen the immediate enjoyment of these wines. Almost modern and Burgundian aromas and flavors of dark cherry, black tea and incense, which has to be a function of the warm, dry 2018 growing season. An excellent, affordable gateway Jura red for those who may have a little trepidation. — 8 months ago
