Purchased at the winery during visit in 2015. Wine is classified as Federspiel (between 11.5% and 12.5% ABV), which generally connotes wines that are dry, medium bodied and well balanced. Smoke and mineral notes on the nose. Grapefruit, peach and apricot fruit, with stone, petrol and racy acidity. — a year ago

From my cellar via Lyle Fass - This is a great winery/coop. So much fun to do a tasting there in Austria in the Danube valley and it is free. Have been there a couple of times. A great wine. At this point it is starting to turn and enter the aged phase of Riesling. Elderberry, touch white peach, meyer lemon, hint jasmine. Was an incredible value. And still is if you can find it what a treat!!! — 8 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
An Austrian “signature” grape. Nice structure, pale lemon color, crisp this Gruner Veltliner shows plenty of stone and citrus fruits with green herbs. On the palate flavors of lemon, peach and pepper with slight nuttiness, medium finish with lively acidity and very good balance. Drink now. — 14 days ago
