Was meant to be a slight diversion, but ended up knocking back two of them and spending the rest of the night drinking champagne... — 6 years ago
A nice diversion from Sauv Blanc, as a hot day sipper. Fragrances of ripe apple, red pear, and honeysuckle, with a mineral under note. Very smooth on the palette, soft but fresh. I almost feel as though drinking this would be refreshing regardless of the wine’s temperature. I have to remember to buy this again, and to try the Euro versions. — 6 years ago
Great value and really good. — 9 years ago
Excellent and a great deal for $8.99 — 10 years ago
Aged for 60 days in Sauvignon blanc barrels, brilliant in a gin & tonic made with Fever Tree's Mediterranean tonic water. Another worthy diversion from Leslie Rudd — 12 years ago
A great diversion… dry, heavy in Tannins…. Solid fruit — 5 years ago

Bedrock Dolinsek Ranch Red
Dried blackberries and rich black and pruned plums. Black cherry dusted bituminous. Cedar and wet violets locked in an energetic embrace. Baked strawberry aromas and dried rose petal. Dried lavender emerges from bing cherry and red currant with a blackberry and bitter chocolate entourage. Touches of ginger and chicory on a medium full palate that bursts with Mallow blossom and blueberry. Intermittently tart, tangy, rich and floral, with a medicinal nod in the dried aromatics, that is a welcome and pleasant diversion. There is a black currant leaf note that likely opens to fruit with age, but is still very pleasant in its youth. #bedrockwineco #BedrockDolinsekRanchVineyards #BedrockDolinsekRanchRed #Sonoma #RussianRiver #RussianRiverValley #Russianriverred #SonomaCounty #DolinsekRanch #dryfarmed #LagunaTrenton #redwine #cared #calired #californiawine — 6 years ago
Doesn't start out this way but ends surprisingly full and fruity, Rich. Good bang for the buck. — 9 years ago
Bright and lively diversion to complement Tuesday night leftover pork tacos and lime-cilantro slaw. Peaches and oranges on the nose, tastes of lime, honey, and orange blossom, some herbaceousness, soft, almost creamy finish 2012 vintage purchased at the winery — 11 years ago
Nice diversion from NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Very bright and citrusy with a sea salt mineral finish. — 12 years ago
Great choice for a moderately priced everyday wine. Nice flavor, hints of fruit, but not sweet. nice diversion from my usual cab or Malbec — 4 years ago
Been awhile since I’ve had this big boy. Juicy-jammy, but reined in. Big blackberry was expected, and echoed on the palate, but dried blackberry, oregano, dried black currant, tobacco, Turkish coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla, make it decadent. Violets, smoke, allspice and leather keep it honest. Pleasantly satisfying and a welcome diversion. .

💯💯💯 slightly musky upfront, chased by subtle some fruit and a long salty finish. Best served with a diversion in the other direction for distracting my table mates every time I refilled my glass. — 7 years ago
A fun diversion into Bordeaux — of course, more earth and vegetable-driven than California cabs. Incredible how these wines manage to stand the test of time with ease — 7 years ago
2014. Very nice blend for the price. Let it open up for awhile first. Does beg for food, but can be consumed alone if you like drinking reds without food. — 9 years ago
Soft, fruity, full bodied Merlot that fills the mouth! Excellent diversion from intense cabs! — 12 years ago

Haven’t had much luck with red Sancerre until tonight at Blanchard’s in Anguilla (worth a diversion!). Velvety, powerful and mushroom-weighted with age, black tea, gritty minerality. So nice. Drink up. — 4 years ago
