Vintage 2016 | cardinal red with slight brown rim, true to type Bordeaux smell, cedar, plums, blackberries, very vibrant taste with lovely acidity, long aftertaste, I am fond of Fronsac, in between gentleman farmer and nobility. | Paired with a cabbage stew and deer meatballs — 4 years ago

2023 vintage. Tasted with the owner/winemaker. Lighter medium body. Sampled via Coravin. Appropriate oak with plenty of zippy rhubarb, clove and spice festivities throughout. If blind, would have guessed Oregon. Three whole barrels made...then...75 cases or so. Not exactly on every street corner. Preferred the 2021 version (9.4) slightly but this was plenty substantial. Picked up a case. 12.04.24. — 2 months ago
Somewhat muted nose full of baking spices. Beautiful flavors of cranberry, ginger, milling spices, and forest floor that just goes on and on. — 4 years ago

A 20 year old Syrah from Idaho! Yes Idaho and scoring it a conservative 9.5! Amazing. Still super vibrant, deep dark cherry infused with mulberry spice and lifted with floral notes of violet, sage and jasmine. Incredible. From Hells Canyon, oldest winery in Idaho established in early 1980’s on the banks of the mighty Snake River. — a month ago
