Vintage 2012 | 375 ml | smell tends to oxidation, taste is certainly better. Nice ripened Fronsac.

Vintage 2016 | cardinal red with slight brown rim, true to type Bordeaux smell, cedar, plums, blackberries, very vibrant taste with lovely acidity, long aftertaste, I am fond of Fronsac, in between gentleman farmer and nobility. | Paired with a cabbage stew and deer meatballs

Vintage 2016 / Wine for the cellar, lots of potential. Nice red fruit, sultry touch. Good concentration. I like Fronsac because it can turn to a little wonder after cellaring.

Cool wine, definitely a masculine take on Merlot. Earthy, with a brambly edge, bitter chocolate and toast. There’s a slight volatility which gives it some lift. Tannins are of the burly sort. Needs air. Comes off as old school, nice cold weather wine
