Great paired with a red sauce pasta — 19 days ago
A touch past its prime but showing well overall. Stylistically somewhere between Quintarelli and Ca’ La Bionda. I was expecting a little more funk. Medium bodied (perhaps due to the vintage) with a sleek and elegant texture. — an hour ago

Silky smooth and still drinking well at 19. — 5 days ago
Ruby red with cherry and cranberry aromas. Great spice note with a medium finish. — 12 days ago
v09. Really good!! Peppery, black cherry licorice nose. Round, rich, deep black cherry fruit. Smooth, long, slightly dry, soft chalk, white pepper and mocha finish. Nicely balanced, this what first time wine drinkers think wine should taste like! — 19 days ago

Sipping Fine Wine
One of the wines that has made Allegrini famous, vineyard surrounds Villa della Torre. A blend of about 40% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella & 5% Sangiovese, deep Ruby color with aromas of dried berry fruit and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with vanilla, figs and licorice notes, good balance, lively acid with fine chewy tannins. Medium finish ending with fruit, mineral and earthy spice. Nice value. — 7 days ago
