apricot peach sauce with grilled orange on the nose along with a musk of verbena and gardenia - in addition to these notes as flavors I found apple pie crust and a honey component leaning rich yet with a vibrant lift of lemon and lime acidity in the mid palate — a day ago
Very elegant wine but needs time. Shy bouquet of cherries, wild strawberries, hint of underbrush, leather, white pepper. Takes some air to open up but the palate is supple and tannins are starting to get integrated. Try in 5-10 years. — 4 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Had this at a tasting and bought several bottles, aged well, just opened last one. Aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels (15% new). Ruby, brown edges, with aromas of red and black stewed fruits and complex spice. On the palate, flavors of layered fruit, ripe black cherry and raspberry with cedar, tobacco, herbs and nutty notes. Full soft tannins, balanced acidity, long ending with fruit and earthy character. Outstanding! Worth the wait! — 7 days ago
