Deep purple in color (I can only see light through the edges of the glass); cassis, black cherries, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like raspberries, blackberries, hibiscus, wet gravel, and a hint of black pepper with a long fruity finish. Nose - soil, wet stone and petrichor/rainy day. Main flavors - delicate stone fruit like plum, cherry and an after taste of fruit pits. Mouthfeel - silky upfront and the a little bit of acid and zing on the back. Really approachable wine. Don’t sleep on dolcetto! Lovely wine. — 18 days ago
