Young Cali Cab Sav. Nose at open, Maraschino cherries with layer or cigar box cedar sting. First taste BIG red berry front, followed by sage next car on the flavour train, white pepper, oak barrel char followed up by a caboose of eucalyptus burn.
The wine needs 40 minutes of breathing @ temp of 18C. After this it lengthens and balances better. The front remains very juicy with Raspberry cough drop sweetness, flowing into green pepper corns, Cohiba cigar smoke and medium length finish. Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago

Completely resolved and beautifully broad, elements of cherry pit, dried red fruit, candied cherry and dark chocolate all combine beautifully to a finish that veers towards Bordeaux.
