2009. A blend of Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo, Brancellao, and Ferrol according to my friend Chris. Lean, dark fruit with firm tannins and refreshing minerality. We had it with beef-stuffed bell peppers, but this vintage would've paired better with steak frites in retrospect.

A stunner, with raspberry compote complimented by waves of floral and herbal notes, citrus pith, and a velvety yet light mouthfeel. This is what Galicia is all about.

2011 vintage. One of the great wines of northern Spain. From around 5ha of mostly decomposed granite in Ribeira, Galicia. Medium-bodied and fresh. Made from rare local varieties, and reminiscent of Mencia/Syrah, but that may have been influenced by the terroir.

Dark fruit, tart tannins, complex. I’d buy a case of this vintage and enjoy with a Cohiba from Havana 🇨🇺

Light like a Pinot Noir with some earth and delicious tartiness with depth and smoothness

Meaty almost bloody texture, dark fresh berry aromas.

2014 vintage. Cranberries. A bit astringent for my taste.
