Well balanced wine with expressive flavours & beautiful mouth feel. Nose has rich dark cherry with edges of star of anise. In mouth: Blackberry, violet, the finish starts with tannins of oak & concludes with a lengthy linger of crushed mixed peppercorns

This disappoints on taste after having such a great nose. The mouthwatering cherry red licorice nose unfortunately is very light to nonexistent in front. It’s middle is flat on palate like a stone, acidic burn on its edge before ending with a plume of tobacco & barrel smoke.
Not sure if time would add anything to this profile🍷 — 9 months ago
This is really dry & crisp. Hard to believe it’s a Chardonnay as it has many Sav Blanc characteristics. Green apple with some citrus fritz & white flower. The finish is totally cleansing with a tingling that leaves the mouth numb with its crispness! Great summer sipper with super value!🍷 — 3 months ago
Traditional with lengthy.
Nose consisted of essences of Red cherry & damp leaves notes. The flavours are subtle throughout with increasing acidity as it opens.
Front cherry skins, transitions to turned earth, then limestone acidic tannins with layer of rose hip tea & warmth of white pepper🍷
Do not pair with spicy foods…ie: Paella over powered the subtleties of this wine. — 5 months ago
Good value & well balanced with a smooth green apple front, followed by white flower, almond & cleansing with an underlying lime zest. — 10 months ago
Nose, fresh cut strawberries sitting in open window with linen curtains. Tasting notes: Pear, green apple tartness & lime zest. Crisp & cleansing! Enjoyed with grilled frenched pork chops done in a spicy brined of maple-bourbon sauce. Sides consisted of crisply roasted fingerlings, salad with light vinaigrette made up of lettuce, spinach, purple cabbage, tomatoes & sprinkled with fresh cut basil & parsley. 🥂 — a year ago
Great value & flavours. Needs at least 30 minutes of breathing & maintain temp in the 58-60F…castle room temp.
First nosing icing sugar sweetness then on swirl strawberry blast. Taste is much different than nose. After time: Blackberry, Wet rocks, Cedar & on finish a flash of cinnamon with warm lengthy black pepper. Before breathing I experienced alot of French Oak this subsides with decanting. Smooth tannins.Didn’t get the “funk” others mentioned but my “cedar” maybe another person’s forest floor🙃🍷 — 4 months ago
Acidity & fluid density steal the show! Unfortunately this value Tuscan didn’t deliver the distinctive layers. Faint nose of black fruits & cough drop menthol. The entire taste experience is edged with acidity. Challenging my palate to seek out the glints of blackberry, breath of rose, tightness of leather & the abrupt finish of crushed tomato. Need to find a food for this wine as on its owns it’s not delivering a satisfying enjoyment😕🍷 — 9 months ago
Good value PN but not traditional in taste.
A very round PN with length.
First nose Cherry & Chocolate with oak smoke.
Taste in front end plush with red fruit shifting to white pepper spiciness, with very little tannins but a finish having a bit of acidic sting blended with green pepper menthol length🍷 — 10 months ago

Beautifully balanced! Must decant for an hour & maintain 16C temp. Velvety smooth in mouth with cherry, chocolate & oak layers. Delivers a little tomato acid in back of mouth with its enjoyable but moderate length finish. Fantastic when paired with savoury ground veal in a vodka sauce over fresh pasta🍷 — 3 months ago
