Enjoyable with a smoothness in flavour transitions of citrus fruits, dulled sweetness of apricot & a finish that has the flatness of apple skin. — 2 years ago
Bravo! This fair priced MDA wine has it all. Well balanced with a great flavour backbone. Nose delivers Cherry Nibs, the front on tongue has roundness of cherry & blackberry with balsamic edges, the has middle dark chocolate & finishes with ball glove leather tannins. Truly enjoyable when paired Pollo alla Diavolo🍷 — 2 years ago
Beautifully balanced! Must decant for an hour & maintain 16C temp. Velvety smooth in mouth with cherry, chocolate & oak layers. Delivers a little tomato acid in back of mouth with its enjoyable but moderate length finish. Fantastic when paired with savoury ground veal in a vodka sauce over fresh pasta🍷 — 3 years ago
Balanced & dare I say smooth! Not many occasions would I believe SavBlanc to be “smooth” usually I find them grassy, acidic but doing their cleansing thing. This was very enjoyable & exactly as described: Lemon, pear, mild asparagus green with subtle cleanse of flint & oak. We had no Chardonnay in house tonight so this became a hesitant but marvellous choice with pan seared salmon, grilled red pepper & fresh corn on the cob. Cheers🙌🏼 @delectable — 2 years ago
Nose of red licorice cherry with hint of anise. Great mouth feel, with density of clinging legs & deep garnet colour. The front is a full dark cherry then without hesitation tight layering of flavours: blackberry-dark cocoa chocolate - white pepper & finishes with moderate tannins supported breath of French oak. The balance of wine works well when paired with Filet Mignon🍷 — 2 years ago
Bold & Brilliant Wine! Has great balance is delivery from front or back. Dark fruits, currants or berries, Leather & tobacco, hints of cedar & tilled soil. With under lining of eucalyptus coolness in its breath & a lean blueberry finish. 🍷🍷 — 2 years ago
Opens with nose of fresh churned butter & lemon. Upon first taste, surprised by its sting of citrus leaning towards grapefruit & cleanse of sustained limestone minerality. At this point, I checked the label again to insure its said Chardonnay as Sav Blanc & Viognier was there. It opens up becoming more floral, orange zest but maintains minerality cleanse. Medium body, little oak delicious-“Chablis”! Paired with pan seared chicken breast creamed sundried tomato sauce & gnocchi💥 — 2 years ago
Bold, Balance & Brilliance. The scents: Tilled soil, Brambles & a refreshing coolness of Eucalyptus. The layers from front to back; Dark plum & currants, tobacco leaves, hint of cedar & lengthy blueberry finish. — 2 years ago
Value Quenching! Has all your typical Cali-Chardonnay characteristics: Melon,Citrus, Vanilla & light Oak. There’s a tartness of green apple that flats the front end layers as it heads to finish. Medium length. Ultimately this is a good offering if found at sale price Vs. it’s regular retail.
Enjoyed paired with grilled Blackened Coho Salmon, Sweet Potato wedges, French Style Green Beans & homemade Lemon-Dill aioli. Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago

Smooth, flavourful & lengthy.
Nose:Cherry cough drops & eucalyptus. Colour & body: Pale garnet & medium density.
Flavour exactly as said by winemaker: Cherry, dried fig & dark chocolate supported by oak & spice. Appassimento process provides roundness, soft tannins & a long pleasant finish edged with sweetness. Paired with CAB pot roast & seasonal root vegetables🍷
