Passionate Pinot Noir
The bottle notes description says it all concisely and correctly: “...notes dark violets, red berries, and licorice.”
Every time I have this it just satisfies me more. Enjoyed with Paella! — 19 days ago
Full Strawberry nose with white pepper. Taste juicy red berry front settles down to a wash blueberry. Then at back of mouth intensity starts with flavour of roasted red peppers done over oak coals and finish cleanse of eucalyptus.🍷 — 3 months ago
Smooth and delicious. Garnet colour and thick legs.
Rose, bramble, herbaceous and light oak.🍷 — 3 months ago
Consumed a while back so many superlatives have come and gone. Certainly it is not similar to the traditional Chardonnay characteristics. It was not buttery or honey like. It had tartness of 🍏Granny Smith , Grape fruit and Lime - minerality didn’t stand out. — 4 months ago
Well balanced flavours of dark fruits with nose aroma of strawberry fusing into muted sweet of raspberries, then tobacco and lengthy finish of lightly charred oak. Soft tannins — 19 days ago
Dark maraschino Cherry nose.
Velvety mouth feel with sumptuous Cherry front, rich berry to graphite middle and end as oak smoke...this was a bit over bearing at first and became tamer with time. — a month ago
Well this wasn’t as good as I’d hoped for. Very light in front end with Strawberry, Bramble berries, & then it’s flavour just disappeared 👻....the back had essence of Clove & menthol. — a month ago
Stone fruit fruit and yellow pepper with a hint of tomato sweetness and luscious mouth feel and cleanse. Not as crisp as most SavBlanc’s but worked well with Mediterranean meal of Halibut, Shallots, Tomatoes, Garlic and Black Olives.🥂 — 3 months ago
All the characteristics that a full on Monastrell should deliver Strawberry, Dark Plum, Dark Chocolate and sourness of tawny leather and plenty of length. — 3 months ago
