Passionate Pinot Noir
Young Cali Cab Sav. Nose at open, Maraschino cherries with layer or cigar box cedar sting. First taste BIG red berry front, followed by sage next car on the flavour train, white pepper, oak barrel char followed up by a caboose of eucalyptus burn.
The wine needs 40 minutes of breathing @ temp of 18C. After this it lengthens and balances better. The front remains very juicy with Raspberry cough drop sweetness, flowing into green pepper corns, Cohiba cigar smoke and medium length finish. Cheers🍷 — 14 days ago
4 Red Varietal blend that is purely Canadian in its “poking” fun at its self. Enjoy with Grilled Cheese or Poutine. Tastes of fresh strawberry, mild bell pepper and the burn of acidic tannins in back of throat — 5 months ago
Wet stones, light citrus with clean finish. — 6 months ago
Outstanding! Fresh Strawberries nose with whiff of vanilla. Balance and fantastic back bone. Tart red berry front, savoury herbaceous, baseball mitt leather and dryness of cool tannins with mild vanilla-smoke💥! Awesome highly recommend 🤯🍷 — a month ago
Bright Red Cherry front to clove and finishes with light smokers oak. Soft tannins & youthful acidity that worked well with fatty meat. We enjoyed it with Chuck Burger topped with Provolone, Avocado, Tomato, Mayo on Egg Bun and side of Root Veggie fries🍷 — 3 months ago

The wine maker says: ”No toasted barrels, no oak flavoured powder” etc. Not sure about what the “powder” comment is all about? But this wine needs some characteristics that make it appear to be a Chardonnay Vs SA Sauvignon Blanc. If this was labeled a SavBlanc it might’ve received a higher rating.
Give me my tropical fruit, my honey my smooth toasted oak finish & pollute it with whatever you want! But make it taste less acidic and gooseberry. I’ll look for good Sav Blanc to fit that need! #winecollective — 7 months ago
The wine is good and delivers the accents of Cali Cab Sav. It is not however overly juicy and the severity of the tannins distracts, dulling the taste characteristics from front to back.
I then decided to chill it after decanting, which reduced tannins and helped in allowing me to enjoy the flavours of dark cherry, leather, soil and oak.🍷 — 2 months ago
Beautiful Cherry nose with hints of spice cake baking. Front delivers a rich Maraschino Cherry followed by the layers of Christmas cake and finished with mild heat of white pepper. The mouth feel is elegant and smooth just like the wine. — 5 months ago
This was really intriguing wine. Bramble and currants were my first impressions. This wasn’t sweet berry or jammy fruits. It was aged dark Cherry, earthy herbal essences and rich in mouth. Flickers of pipe smoke and unsweetened dark chocolate towards finish.
Definitely would try agin and you must decant . — 6 months ago
