Enjoyable and not overly sweet...and light fuel oil finish. I would call this a Semi-Dry Riesling if asked! Enjoyed with Brie and charcuterie of Eastern Europe deli meats. Along with fresh Ontario pears and 🍎 — 12 days ago
2014 Vintage: Front bright cherry with smooth transition to flint-earth finish. These all evolved as the wine opened...Black berry - essence of wood match smoke - tar finish remaining smooth and delicious! — a month ago
Great patio wine with oysters and shrimps. Nice texture in mouth and luscious tropical flavours that cleanse. — 5 months ago
Truly enjoyed this bottle. Nose brilliant field berries with hint spearmint. The mouth was unique as the front presented muted dark fruits and then BAM BRIGHT BERRY lingering off into warm wood with light notes of toll houses chocolate.
Great bargain at LCBO this week under $20! — 8 months ago
Simply good Cali Chardonnay at a reasonable price. Has everything you would expect in tropical notes and cleansing medium length finish. — 12 days ago
Friendly, Robust & Good Value!
Roses on front end adding red currant with hint of tarragon...not thick in mouth or pour but has pleasant finish. This was experienced when eating fatty meat its slightly balsamic offering that works well with the Prime Rib melding flavours. Definitely sparked my interest for Case purchasing. Need to do a retry with some serving temp variations & some breathing time. — 20 days ago
Nice surprise off the shelf. The floral nose with slight Seabreeze. Flavour in mouth citrus acidity with a thickness in finish of light fuel ....the "exotic fruit"....is there but I can't pin point exactly what it is!
Never the less this was very enjoyable with grilled salmon, fire roasted red pepper and Brussel sprouts. A bargain of good taste! — 6 months ago
Good - not as brilliant as I recall when we visited winery in PEC 2014. Front lacked the brightness of fruit savoury, while back end earthiness seemed subdued and not same as I'd enjoyed previously. 😟 Net-Net I should have consumed earlier as the superior taste of this vintage was not to be found last night. — 12 days ago
This wine provides excellent value and flavour. Decanted for 30 minutes...could have used 60 minutes. Front transitions from rose to ras-strawberry, white pepper and finishes with heat of menthol and sweet smoke taste of Cigarillo. Not a long finish but this may increase with age
At LCBO for $13.65 this weekend.
Great with marbled strip loin steak, garlic butter shrimp and butternut squash noodles with hint of rosemary. YOU MUST LET THIS BREATHE! — 5 months ago
Not the best PN I have enjoyed from this winery. It is light throughout the experience. I appreciate the "burgandian" dedication. The front was tart with cranberry and unfortunately the rest was nothing but light ....essence of what should be there. The terrior I usually enjoy from this region was a big miss! — 8 months ago
