An incredible bottle of wine in a stunning spot. Beautiful balance and restraint with and couple decades of life ahead.

Super solid just not wowed like the past bottling I’ve had. Well integrated tannins and tons of tertiary notes that is just missing the necessary fruit id prefer.

2001 vintage. Found this little gem in a dark spot at bottom of cellar. Forgot about it. Would have liked to open 5 years ago but fun to see what evolves. A dearth of fruit but plenty to enjoy. Finishes a tad tart but lots of tobacco which is superb with the Cohiba in my hand. Happy Holidays!
