17.5+ marginally superior to the Clos de la Roche Lignier - same vintage — a year ago
Excellent. Very high acidity. Rich and full. Deep red fruits, figs. Funky. — 3 years ago
Nose: rich. Still a hint of oak. A bit of minerality peeking through. Yellow flowers. As this opens some pear.
Palate: this is a rich wine. Yellow fruits. Delicious. Framing oak. Magnificent elegant acidity. Perfect acidic balance.
A magnificent richness. — 2 months ago

2022/7/12-14. Compared to the Joseph Colin Compendium, this was a bit fatter, richer and showed more oak influence (though certainly not excessive in that regard). There’s more smoky mineral in the nose - perhaps a bit of reduction as well - and a bit more juice and depth to the fruit. A few years to integrate more could make it even better. — 2 years ago

2024/4. Having gone through all of the 2018 Combes, this was the next-best value I could find of Joseph Colin’s Saint Aubins still out there. While I still need to get to know this wine better, the first meeting was wonderful — 2 days ago
