Pretty dry not bad for a cheaper wine — 6 days ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Consistent throughout. The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva pours a deep garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with lovely notes of tart and ripe red and black fruit: Morello cherry, blackberry, black tea, dried green herbs, dry gravelly earth, and theres a little bit of VA too. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and zippy with a very elegant texture. A lovely example of the 2020 vintage. Drink now through 2035. — a month ago
Had the 2022 vintage in November 2024. It didn’t disappoint. Thanks Crush in NYC for recommending it! — 13 days ago

3.3. We always like this tasty. chianti. On sale for $18.69, regularly $21.99. — 16 days ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, tomato leaves, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like red currants, raspberries, black paper, dried herbs, and clay pots with a long finish. I love this wine, but Nellie didn'tlike it. — 24 days ago
Light medium bodied, delicious cherry fruit, elegant and very food friendly. Not especially complex and a bit understated but versatile everyday wine. Good value. — 19 days ago
