2020 fall. This might be my favorite (at least for immediate enjoyment) among the wines guzzled on our recent Rioja binge. It’s open-knot, with lots of red fruit and spices like mace, but also has typical mature notes - that mushroom and cheese thing. At the same time, it doesn’t feel overly developed - it’s just layered. — 4 years ago
Strong diacetyl notes and rich, smooth oak flavor. Full bodied. Creamy with vanilla highlights. Goes well with a heavier cream pasta dish, soft cheese, poultry, pork, or simply on its own! — 4 years ago
Pale-medium straw color.
Aromas of fresh baked buttery pastry, cheese.
Dry. Flavors of lemon, buttery pastry, Parmigiano, green apple finish.

Earthy and mushroom-y. Ate with ribs, Mac and cheese, corn casserole. Bought at Whole Foods. — 4 years ago
Tart - Apple/grapefruit taste. Excellent with cheese and crackers. Roast pork with a pear based sauce and roasted carrots. Very enjoyable! — 7 months ago
Delicious and complex, but not overwhelming. Easy to drink. 85% tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% mazuela. Good with strong cheese or beef. Dry. — 4 years ago
Deep red, nose is earthy with ripe plum or cherry, full body with ripe cherry, but not sweet. Goes great with a goat cheese stuffed ravioli and a complex tomato sauce. — 5 years ago

Somewhat riper than expected but still fresh and racy, crystalline acidity with tropical fruit, honeysuckle, bruised apple, petrol and cheese rind notes adding interest. And the color is stunning — a month ago
