815 California Cabernet Sauvignon

I think this is supposed to be a medium body cab, but perhaps due to its aging it’s quite big. Enjoyed it with both a filet mignon and pesto chicken

I had the 2013 before, and thought it was good value. I enjoyed this one too, and it's still a good value, fruit is cherry and black cherry, with vanilla and wood, some earth, and a hint of cola. Acidity is moderate, and tannins are low to moderate. Good table wine.

Good value under $20

Smooth and silky Cab with a bite of pepper.

Smooth and earthy. A great wine on it's own or accompanying dinner.

Nose is light fruit, clean. Taste is berry, fruits, with a bit of spice finish. Very moderate tannis, easy to drink.

Great wine. A bit astringent which probably implies tannins. Also heavy mouth feel.

Like drinking a high priced cut of meat

Light fruity nose. A bit of oil after it warms. Wants to be something but falls short. Acidic aftertaste. Improves as it warms a bit. Don't drink cold.

Forest air, leather, licorice. Vanilla, bandaid adhesives. Medium plus acidity. Grippy tannins, hot finish. Solid bottle.
