Yeah, I bought 2 Joel Gott wines today. I guess I'm reliving some of the wines I liked when I first got into wine.
This is just fine! Inexpensive and chuggable, if I'm not careful. Citrus, green apple, pineapple, melon.. you're supposed to say "grass and gooseberry" when you drink SB, but I've never tasted a gooseberry. Not very grassy, either. Doing this with Thai spring rolls, and it's great.

Great with Longhorn on Mom and Dad’s Anniversary! — a month ago
Not what I ordered (the server messed up), but it was perfect with the cassoulet. I’d happily order it again. — 2 months ago
Raspberry, sweet plum, mild tannins, low acidity and spice. The softer side of Zinfandel, in part due to 40% new oak. Should age well. — 4 months ago
Excellent texture, seemed a bit more oxidized than I would have thought given the age - not flawed in any way, just unexpected. — 13 days ago
Nice Mellow wine with full flavor. Let it open. Not sure of year. — 3 months ago
