I wish more Zinfandel could be made like this. While this is just a baby, it’s already delivering so much pleasure. Very primary with bright red fruits and spices. Good acid. Long finish. A few years in the cellar will do these wonders and there’s no reason to doubt the Bedrock bottle will have the ability to age gracefully for well over a decade. Such an exciting project from Joel Patterson and looking forward to trying more!!

14.6% ABV 129 y/o head pruned vines.226 cases made, Native yeast, open top redwood fermenters, 100% French barrels, 30% new. P-N-P. Brief enticing red fruit aromatics. Dark purple color, really nice.
