Borderline syrupy, legs sludgy, dark in presentation. Nose is reminiscent of dessert. Big, Round, vanilla and oak so big it more than eludes to its bourbon lineage...when you taste, there’s almost a tequila zing to it. At 17% it is does zing, and with an off-off dry flavor profile, it’s not for everyone. — 6 years ago

Priced like a table wine. Super pepper and Earthy to the nose and pallet. Too pepper for my liking. Dry, dark, thin, flat and even bitter. Slutty. Fine to share with a group, fast and slurry. — 6 years ago

Rustic Sleeper from Northern Rhône. Upon opening smelled funky, dare I understate the initial nose. I was truly worried it was a bad bottle. After reading the horse review here I decided to stick with it. And I’m glad I did. After airing out a bit, this truly well balanced wine sings with acid, bright fruit and the perfectly subtle hints of tannins that ever so slightly dry you out, begging for more Jamet : ) — 6 years ago
