Ravenswood single vineyard efforts always deliver beyond expectations. and it’s a great value drinking at half the price of something comparable. I think the Ravenswood mass produced stuff subsidizes their good stuff. $19 at K&L SF on their old and interesting wall to the far left when you go in. — 5 years ago
Shows how a great vintage can lift a humble wine. Stellar stuff. Deeper and darker color. Deeper nose. Super floral, crushed granite, mashed flowers, violets, ripe but not too ripe. Very clean. Lovely nose. Palate has a mass of peppery fruit. Deep, ripe and complex with a huge granite footprint. Juicy and structured with ability to go 5-6 more years. Awesome. — 6 years ago
Jumping spider eye bubbles mass in a parabola foam while smaller bubble sheens fill the bursting absences, until the whole becomes an espresso foam, and equally oiled. Unction lacings lean Hebraic but ultimately are the dream fonts writ by the hand of G-d. Mene Mene Tekel Parsin they seem to say before fluttering away as constellations on a starling’s back. Fair warning as this is a heavy purse to carry. Six years in and taking stock. Figs, dates, treacle, raisins, carob, caramel, vanilla bean, sweet potato casserole, bacon fat, mincemeat. Rich on the palate with milk chocolate, molasses, Turkish coffee, gingerbread, candied date, and espresso-tobacco finish. Gloriously integrated and complex complexions.

First to admit I'm a wine snob and yes this is mass made wine. BUT I'm humbled. Paired with intensely flavorful Nepalese/himalayan this fridge-cold wine is absolutely perfect pairing. The light grassy note and medium acidity doesn't poke your spicy mouth, it resets and refreshes. By itself I wouldn't be excited. If I were a professional I would push this as an affordable glass that takes a back seat to make the meal Better. wow.! — 5 years ago
Dark and dense color, the aroma is subtly Italian with leather and licorice but is not lively with authentic local feel. The weight and density is very satisfying, it does not feel like mass-produced, event though it is modern and very clean. It does not have the nuances and aromatic intensity to be considered excellent, however the consistency and integrity of flavor is very impressive. — 6 years ago
Mushroom melange and plums dance on your nose with forest mass and nettle. Textural perfection, boasting silky raspberry with tobacco notes. Such a strong showing for an 18 year old Oregon Pinot. Phenomenal.

Лучший пилснер масс маркета. Приятный освежающий хлебный вкус и горечь. The best pilsners of mass market. He has great bred testy and bitterness. — 4 years ago
Beautiful, could easily pass as Premier Cru Burgundy. 50 year old vines of Mass Selection clones. Iron and Mineral aromatics create a lovely frame for the beautiful Sonoma fruit. Great site. — 6 years ago

Unusual as it has way more earth than usual for a Prosecco. Very interesting as it’s not just mass produced fizz. Do not waste by adding OJ — 3 months ago
