Renovations update - the stairs are in. And is there a better way to mark the occasion that with a Baciaglupi chard? Presents a beautiful, rich yellow color in the glass. Nose of purple fruit and herb. Entry is purple bramble. Not jammy in any way. Good sharp acidity on the front. Goes to more of a underripe fig on the middle. Finish has some stiff oak astringency. I think it will take a few years to integrate. Still thinking this one is a couple of years away from the top of the hill so hold this one if you have it. If I were to do this differently, I would probably have decanted for 2 hours before serving. — 3 days ago
