Vineyard Designate Series Windsor Oaks Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Dark black / red edges. Dark cherry & blackberries with currants. Long legs & pleasing tannins on the finish. Excellent pairing with grilled aged Rib-In Ribeye. Great for 40th wedding anniversary. Looking forward to next bottle on 45 anniversary. — 18 days ago

Renovations update - the stairs are in. And is there a better way to mark the occasion that with a Baciaglupi chard? Presents a beautiful, rich yellow color in the glass. Notes of lemon curd and pineapple almost overwhelm on the nose. The palate is multi-layered, and rounded. Perfect tension between the acid and fruit on the mid-palate. Stunning...

Anne-Marie and I are minimalists. We like clean, simple lines. She did most of the designs that you’ve seen in my posts. I do the fixtures, fittings, lighting and the wine cellar. Glad you like it, bud. @DavidL, thanks for introducing me to the Baciaglupi vineyard and whites like these! @P A, @Scott Petrus, @Manny Abascal, thank you for those words. If any of you are prowling around in the tri-state area, our door is always open 🙂

I can see that - it looks very good. I consider myself to be an adherent to minimalistic / contemporary design schemes, as well.

Complicated Pinot. Still tastes good the second day. — 19 days ago

Sonoma County Red Blend 2016

The best thing I've had in my mouth all day. Fills the empty parts of my soul with hints of berry. Not too sweet, but nice enough to bring home to mom. — 18 days ago

Alexander Valley Malbec 2015

Nose of purple fruit and herb. Entry is purple bramble. Not jammy in any way. Good sharp acidity on the front. Goes to more of a underripe fig on the middle. Finish has some stiff oak astringency. I think it will take a few years to integrate. Still thinking this one is a couple of years away from the top of the hill so hold this one if you have it. If I were to do this differently, I would probably have decanted for 2 hours before serving. — 3 days ago

My new geaux to when I want to relax. I turn the lights down leaux, kick off my shoes, and just enjoy. Definitely worth the extra deaux. — 18 days ago

Brilliant $17 chard. Love this. Honeycomb and caramel on the nose. Freshly baked bread and almonds on the palate, complimented with apricots and orchard fruits. Finishes with subtle toasted oak. Such a great effort. — 25 days ago

There was a former time in my life I only drank Chardonnay and I drank this a lot.

Old Hill Ranch Grenache 2014

This wine delivers a full-bodied white chocolate experience with just a hint of smoke and black currant. A medium yet elegant finish rounds out this delicious and feminine wine. — 25 days ago
