Flavorful Margaux, still a little young, with prominent tannin, served with Hake Wellington at Chez Rosa restaurant in Kennebunkport, ME — a month ago
Yes…I know..a tad too early. But any chateau that has a lighthouse (built 1611 AD) in the middle of its vineyards deserves a look. And I’m so glad I did. Classic Bordeaux profile made up of 60% Cab, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit V. With a QPR of $18 this Mèdoc is simply crushing it. Cellar worthy? Absolutely! 😎 — 11 days ago
Exactly as you would expect of an AOC SR from a best in class producer. Dried cranberries, Shitake mushrooms, black tea, raspberry leaf. — 2 months ago

Classic notes of left bank Bordeaux. 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot. Initially a sweet palate but after a few hours, restrained, balanced and a little dusty and herbaceous. Very fine tannins - totally resolved and seamless. A classy wine - the 2nd wine of a leading First Growth from a good vintage. — 5 days ago
