BIG fan of this wine. Red fruit notes, but not too sweet. Tannins aren’t too strong, but enough for a little kick before a smooth finish. The aging is perfect on this, nice hints of Merlot and it’s hitting its peak. Great wine. — 2 months ago

We were drinking classic wines from classic vintages on this particular night and this fit the bill nicely. This wine (not the ‘05) was one of the first Bdx I ever tried early in my wine drinking career. This particular bottle was as textbook as they come — 3 months ago
