On the palate, nicely intense flavors and zingy acidity, tannins there but resolving. Lengthy finish. 76% Syrah 24% Grenache Only 13.6% alcohol! From Sonoma County. Aging quite slowly and easily could be confused with a good Northern Rhone Syrah. Serving with braised lamb shanks. — a day ago

Quintessential Beaune. Quite young, but already showing some soft edges. Cherry notes combine with cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg. This is not for the long haul, but is presenting well right now. Finishes dry, so in my mind, this requires food - Nougatine at Jean Georges. — 5 years ago
