Bought this 2020 cru at $50. While in Cleveland. Was assured it was worth every penny it and it is outstanding. Crushed dark fruits including fig with spices. Juniper, pine, camphor oil, leather and bitter orange peel. Truly one of the biggest and most complex Moulin a Vents I’ve ever had. A wintry wine for roasted foods. Has easily another 5 years ahead of it. — 3 months ago

Rich dark red fruit and tannic structure - a nice drink now but the wine will approve with age. — 7 months ago
Well balanced wine, deep and rich taste — a month ago
This is like wine candy and not in the way I normally refer to wine candy. In this case, fruity but a bit too sweet. This tastes like a higher brix pick than I prefer w/ my red burgundy. The sweetness does fade some after it long sets.
Black cherries, strawberries, raspberries with some blue fruit. Eucalyptus, a pungent herbaceous quality, dry top soil, dry limestone powder, fresh & used tobacco, dry leather, dry twig, pronounced barrel shavings, soft baking spices- strong clove, understated cinnamon, nutmeg & vanillin, some grilled meats, pepper, mid berry cola, dry river stone, nice red, dark, blue florals with violets, excellent acidity and a well knitted structure-tension, needs more time to be well balanced but elegant & polished long finish that lasts minutes and long sets on dry earth minerals & spice.
Maybe, better with a good long cellaring? — 6 months ago

Last bottles from a 6-pack. I had two bottles that were sadly riddled with EA, but the other four were sound.
This was one of the wines I served for my annual WWC hosting. All wines served blind.
65 semillon/ 34 Sauvignon Blanc/ 1 Muscadelle
Always love these, more so than most domestic Bordeaux Blanc style white wines, mostly because of the texture. Straw color in the glass. Quite the tropical aromatics (white peach, mango) but it’s not overpowering. The barrel ferment is apparent with the rounded profile on the palate…the vein of acidity that was there a few years ago is fading, so this showed even more opulent than normal. Honeyed lemon, guava, orange blossom but a backbone of sea salt and herbs snap the structure in place to show nice balance and a nod to Bordeaux. I’d recommend popping now and over the next couple years to enjoy the freshness. — 6 days ago
