Château Léoville Poyferré

Saint Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Lovely wine! Beautifully balanced. Soft well integrated tannins. Ripe red and black fruit. Drinking very well with just a short decant. — 10 days ago

Château Léoville Barton

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2005

Considered by some to be the Wine of the Vintage, the 2005 Léoville-Barton
Is a full bodied mouthful of black currants, minerals, spices, grippy tannins and enough energy to evolve for another decade.

Château Léoville-Las Cases

La Petite Marquise du Clos du Marquis Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

Château Léoville Las Cases ‘La Petite Marquise’ Saint-Julien 2018: Medium-full bodied. Medium-high acidity. Noticeable tannins that mellowed out over time. Deep purple in color. Tasting notes of blackberry, plum, strawberry, cedar & oak. Smooth warm finish. All in all, a rich & delicious Saint-Julien wine however very worthy of additional years of cellaring. Be well wine friends! Cheers 🇫🇷🍷 — 3 years ago

Château Léoville-Las Cases

Clos du Marquis Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

Quite deep ruby , narrow ruby rim. Deep and more concentrated on the nose , with dark cassis , ripe summer fruits , dark cherry , grafite , oyster shell notes. On the palate this is quite rich and decadent , cassis , ripe blackberry , blueberry a, dark cherry . Sweet but ample tannin , balanced acidity , quite rich but well balanced , good blackcurrant, grafite tinged , length . This is showing well but will continue to do so over the next 10-15 years , perhaps longer . — 3 days ago

Saint Julien Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2020

Wonderful! Needs 30 mins in the decanter and is delightful after that. Savory, oyster, mushroom notes. Sweet casis and warm bread sweetness with a light finish. Excellent and will age well! — a year ago

Château Potensac

Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 1997

1997 vintage. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Franc. The most humble of the Domaines Delon stable ( Léoville Las Cases, Clos du Marquis, Nénin) is showing incredibly well at 27 years old. Showing its age more in the nose than in the taste, but actually improving with decanting ( thanks broken cork!). Still good fruit, with refreshing acidity and a good grip of soft tannin. Very good length too. Still worth seeking out from a well-stored bottle. — 2 years ago

What a gem! Still broad-shoulders with hint of smoke and more than ample fruit. Absolutely delightful nose and palate that provides a long, rewarding finish. Wow! — 2 days ago
