Drinking in 2025. At peak or just past with minimal tannins but nice acidity still present for a nice juicy mouth feel. Subtle cherry, herbs and cedar with earthy overtones. Pleasant medium length finish that gradually fades. — 13 days ago
Great fruit in this one! Much less feral and rustic than I expected. Wow. — 25 days ago

Lovely red. Smooth. Slightly chilled. Recommended by Donnette. j had rack of lamb M had steak — 7 days ago
So seamless and delicious. We had 3 forty year olds at dinner so this was a birth year wine for the majority of our dinner. Last had a couple years ago, and this remains very good. Not primary, but also wouldn’t guess 40 years old. Really nice pairing with a roast leg of lamb on Christmas. — 13 days ago
Wow, fantastic Chateauneuf! Smooth and pairs well with an airport cheeseburger and our cheese plate. Will try to find it back home. — 9 days ago

Amazing freshness with the 20+ age, spicy nose, pure minerality.
Hints of beeswax, shy quince, salty rocks, the purity here is just insane.
On the palate this hits with brilliant acidity (not far from Fino!), paired with spicy minerality and barely a hint of apples sprinkled with fleur de sel. Great depth and amazing electric tension.
This is brilliant! I am blown away. Wowza! — 25 days ago

Opened several hours prior to service, the 2007 pours a deep, ruby/purple color with an opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe and desiccated bramble berries, strawberry, dried red flowers, garrigue, anise, leather, dried herbs and stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This is anything but tired and far from overblown. I’ve been surprised by a number of 2007 CdP’s lately. They have showed better balance than I expected and this one is wonderfully balanced. Drink now through 2037. — 3 days ago
