— 6 months ago
1970 Vintage amazing this wine is 49 year old and still good! From the bottom of the cellar, the cork was leaking a little so we opened it! Had it in June 2019 with friends who visit Chateau la Gardine every year — 5 years ago
A legacy CdP from the collection. Haven’t had in many years - with the age it’s certainly nice. Though, quite full bodied and somehow still somewhat austere, and with not enough acid to really keep it all refined. Nice enough with skirt steak on the grill. — 3 months ago

Nice grenache nose with blackberry notes along with garigue and tapenade touches. This is simple yet very inviting. The palate is very well made with a very strong acid backbone, a nice blackberry note all along, somehow a milky mouthfeel, a powerhouse of a midpalate with a good grip and a very long finish with fruit and that grip, along with a tiny bitter touch. This is simple but very well made. More of this!! — 4 years ago
