Ruby with a hint of garnet. Aromas of strawberry, cherry, fig/raisin. Not overly sweet, but just right. Stewed cherries, leather, raisins with a nice finish. Great with our cheese board. — 8 months ago

Another solid vintage of this 100% Corvina gem. Dark purple/ruby color. Aromas of ripe and cooked red fruit, burnt chocolate, cola and purple flowers. Flavors of cherry compote, red currants, cocoa powder, coffee and black pepper spice. Long and luxurious finish with some sweet oak overtones. Rich, dense, complex and plush. Tannins are so smooth. Easy drinker that can handle a chill. Not quite as outgoing as the stellar 2016 Vintage but still quite good. Thanks for bringing this one out at the New Year’s Day brunch, Keith S! — 5 months ago
Bolder than expected. Dry and slightly acidic, with tobacco, plum, and cherry notes. Will get again. — 2 years ago

Probably would have been better if served a bit cooler. Still, a nice emilian Sangiovese. Bit too much oak and a smidge of heat, but the grape still shines through and with a good meaty pasta dish it pairs well. Had at Relais Roncolo in Emilia Romagna. — 3 days ago
