Ripe stone fruit, good acidity, opened up nicely after 20 minutes — 4 months ago
Great summer wine and so inexpensive! — 9 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90 minutes. The 2023 “Buri Bellaria” Friulano pours a deep straw color with medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe orchard and some tropical fruit: peach cup, pear, ripe pineapple, Meyer lemon, and rocky, inorganic earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is silky. Alcohol is medium+. A distinctive wine; full of beauty. Drink now through 2033. — 2 months ago
Great wine even though it didn’t hold up to my memories of former vintages, maybe because it’s a rare wine in its class that’s both excellent but drinks better young. It shed its primary character and left behind some ginger, vegetal tomato leaf and a silky texture with a long finish, driven by very prominent phenolic bitterness. Drinks like an austere high-quality white Bordeaux without the oak, but I miss the vibrant fruitiness and stronger Italian quality I get in its youth — 4 months ago
As previous, still an enticing bracing lively lovely white to ring in Year of the Horse at Cindy’s — 2 months ago

S.S. Mandani
Earthy, capri lemon, mineral, and fennel in the bouquet.
Good acid profile (moderate to high), granite / chalky / earthy / peaty unctuousness going on.
Rocky/gravelly chew. Less green and more stony. — 4 days ago
