Strong up front, Black cherry and bright flavor and balanced finish. Really smooth after decanting and drinking over two hours . On the second day I decanted for two hours and it really opened up and was easy and sweet with a smooth finish. I loved it the second day. One of my favorite wines. — 11 days ago

Grapefruit, lemon, pear, ginger, green herbs, rockdust and wonderful hints of orangeblossom!
Crystalline, bright, elegant. Beautiful ‘feinherb’-balance: just a hint of sweetness in the opening, meets racy acidity, and a clean dry finish.

This is as classic as Napa Can can be - deep Ruby even at 9 years of age, wonderfully developed nose of cassis, red currant, violet, blackberry, wild raspberry, cedar, cigar box and wet stone, dried rose petal and cedar. Beautiful balance between the fruit, the silky, elegant tannins, crisp acidity and alcohol (15.2%). Very long finish and very much full of life - it has another 10 years of life. Voluptuous without being too ripe or overly extracted. Masterful — 3 years ago
