Black a new blend produced from classic varieties that do not make it into the Quinta do Noval vintage. Deep Ruby red color with pronounced aromas of berry fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, spice, leather and smoke. Long finish, full bodied, smooth tannins, ending with fruit, cacao and tobacco notes. Nice. — 3 months ago

[8-hour decant] Ripe, rich, very youthful still, with a noticeable tannic backbone, but also shows a sweet palate (think Graham’s/Fonseca, though the Symington family owns Graham’s, Dow’s, Warre’s and Cockburn’s, among others??), this should easily evolve/improve another 10-20 years, very long finish, outstanding vintage Porto, super long finish!! — 3 months ago
NH Liquor store $17. Very enjoyable before & during paella dinner. Would drink again. — 17 days ago
Had an amber color to it. Smelled of vanilla or cinnamon and had earthy and oaky aromas. Tasted of red berries with hints of oak. — a month ago
Good, would buy again. Not too heavy not too light, good aftertaste. — 3 months ago

pretty nice, some Spanish Garnacha can be too fruit driven & flabby, but this was decently structured - had an impressive core of fruit w/some terroir driven aromas & flavors. lacked polish leading to modest finish. good value @ $16 — a month ago
