Karim you wish you were in a blizzard. This is actually super damn good wine for value. — 7 years ago
A little heat on the nose, but African violets, raspberries and juicy-ripe blackberries, cherry cola, and blueberry pie with hints of fresh mushrooms, cedar, and eucalyptus comes through. Surprisingly light in the body and tannic structure in spite of other clues - it opens with fresh, ripe Queen Anne cherries and July strawberries, immediately giving way to prunes, pot roast and crimini mushrooms, and finishing with anise, green peppers, bitter cocoa. Would be perfect with a molè. — 8 years ago
Everything you want in a rosé.Crisp, refreshing, opens up as the meal goes on. This got lost in the bday blizzard but was returned to, time and again.
According to Johnson & Robinson @World Atlas of Wine, Rosé accounts for just 1% in Burg, but is a specialty in Marsannay.

Still holding strong, but throwing sediment, blizzard like, still has good bright melon fruit. — 7 years ago

Super mineral nose. Also some green apple and pear. Pungent minerality. Juicy and intense. Spice and complexity and huge acids. Lovely potpourri effect on the backend. Sneaky long and intense focus. Great! Very clear and very focused. Exceptional. Blown away. Insane finish is a blizzard of complexity.
