Ripe, like Cali ripe Roussanne. Quite a nice wine but the richness could be tempered by a bit more acidity. Went great with the lobster and winter salad.

2012: 80% Roussanne. Quite opulent, floral, sweet, stone fruit apricot and peach. Vanilla. 65-70 year old Roussanne vines. Very creamy, almost ice-cream, vanilla, stone fruit, lovely opulence and good balanced acidity. Good length, complex and long.
