La Marea

Spur Ranch Grenache 2019

The elegant side of #grenache - High-toned strawberry + red floral elements on the nose, elegant creamy texture on palate, soft tannins, balanced acidity. Lovely wine from I. Brand & Family Winery. #centralcoastwine — 2 years ago

Limestone Ridge at Vista Verde Vineyard Chenin Blanc 2022

At first I found this medium bodied, slightly creamy, with prominent stone fruits, white peach and cumquat, with a prominent minerality and slight notes of cheesecake on the nose. Now it’s emerging much more dry with air, still a long, mineral driven palate, still medium bodied, but beautifully balanced and definitely a contract to many California white wines when it comes to complexity and nuance. — 3 months ago

Terra d'Uva Greco di Tufo

Every time I have this I’m struck by the clear crisp citrus. So drinkable. Cuts through rich pasta meals like a dream. — 3 months ago

Williams Selyem

Vista Verde Vineyard Grüner Veltliner 2022

Pale yellow with flecks of green in the depths, light bodied, with a dry and mineral tinted nose, with hints of yellow apple, white florals, fresh cantaloupe and (according to Tiva) cardamom. Palate is light medium, dry, with apple, white stone fruit, straw, with a long mineral driven finish. — 7 months ago

Vigna Cicogna Greco di Tufo 2019

9.2

Don’t see it as often as I’d like, but I almost always pick up a Greco and always enjoy it! Florals florals florals, fresh garden, wet stones, orchard fruit - quite complex and this is best at cellar temp. Silky sensuous on palate, gorgeous body w/nice heft & balanced integrated acidity. Really strutted thru finish. Would like to revisit in 5 yrs — 9 months ago
