The quality of these many and varied Henschke cuvées never ceases to amaze. Just brief notes - not as much spice as Mount Edelstone and Hill of Grace. This is from the Barossa and provides a point of difference to their big guns in the Eden Valley. A more full bodied palate showing black and blue fruits and liquorice - not so much the sage and black pepper that shows on their Eden Valley reds. — 2 years ago

2020 vintage. Enjoyed at The Sky Room at the Fairmont Breakers Hotel in Long Beach, CA via Coravin. Three glasses just to confirm the quality of said experience. Not nearly as structured and deep as the 2018 or 2019 but still very very nice. At $45 a glass, did not feel cheated. — 4 months ago
Aroma of flinty strawberries. Tart strawberries berries upfront. Watermelon comes into play in the middle. Then a quick bone dry finish. — 3 years ago

Had with lunch in Quebec City. 2016 was wonderful and still bright red. — 7 months ago
1984, surprisingly tanic, acidic, and Heavy dried fruit, prunes and dried figs. over oxidized tasting at first but interesting. From producer to cellar at breakers in palm beach. Small leak out the bottle on one side of the cork. Over time it settles and the dried fruit subsides and then the lighter acidic flavors of fresh berries comes forward. — 4 years ago
