Drank with rib-eyes on the grill, potatoes and green beans with toasted garlic. A nice zin, with little of the usual spiciness. More fruit forward than normal in lieu of the spice. Still a nice, drinkable zin — 2 days ago
Drank 4/16/16 with steaks on the grill, potatoes and onions and green beans. Not your typical zinfandel, did not have that spice edge, but it was a very pleasant, smooth wine, almost like a pinot noir. Worth it. — 6 months ago
Drank 4/3/16 with ravioli, meatballs and garlic bread. It was a wonderful bottle from the start. We decanted it after running through the aerator. — 7 months ago
Drank 8/21/16 with rib-eyes on the grill. Really nice for the $29 NH price. Held up well with the beef and improved over the course of the meal. — 2 months ago
Drank over a couple of evenings in early April 2016, and it was not what we are used to from Chalk Hill. It was lighter, more fruit and less oak than the 'normal' Chalk Hill. — 6 months ago
Drank 4/8/16 with weiner schnitzel, spaetzle and red cabbage after aeration and decanting. It was wonderful from start to finish. Smooth, long finish, the perfect accompaniment. — 7 months ago
