Having this side by side with the 2007 Lolita Ranch Pinot. We have two dishes duck confit and baked salmon with polenta. Both wines obviously amazing with confit and surprising pair well with the salmon
Fresh cut ripe plum and dark cherry, cola, still super youthful on the nose.
The palate is dense but silky, vanilla, mixed berries, cedar and tobacco. Bright and vibrant. The heavy oak influence carries it through its age. Definitely needs a chill as the alcohol is a little hot.
Glad I'm having this wine with age — a day ago

Baked red fruit, moss. Cherry. Alcohol. Darker. Big. While the texture and palate is pleasant, it needs age. — 21 days ago
2018 vintage I’m March 2021 13.5% alcohol. Tight with a firm beam of acid crispness at first when cold. As it opened over an hour it gained roundness and some tropical fruit as well as good body. This will be a Really Good Wine in 2-3 years. Good value too. — 9 days ago
Big dark fruit on the nose. Light palate with dark tea. — 15 days ago
Dark cherry red with flavors of raspberry and cherry, followed by hints of pepper and bay leaf. If you have been seeking total calm and satisfaction.... stop looking for it doesn’t exist... however this wine will definitely make you believe you have found it.... great pairing with roasted chicken, asparagus and fresh spring salad. — 25 days ago
Starting to lose some of the bubbles, but still wonderful. Celebrating the first full day of spring with mimosas. — 20 days ago
Fantastic nose of many and vanilla, herbs and citrus on palate and lingers with creamy vanilla notes for a while. Awesome pour! — 11 days ago
