Lots of candied fruits but still a nice acidity — 8 months ago
Clean, crisp, sweet, tart, and vibrant minerals — 6 years ago
Mid lemon in colour. Aromatics of yellow peach and slate. Touch of smoke. Great palate intensity - not overly sweet for an Auslese - only 8% ABV. Jancis said “a floral explosion on the palate “ and I cannot disagree. I don’t drink a lot of sweet wine without dessert but this was most enjoyable - a great accompaniment to chicken liver pate with crackers. Acidity particularly at the first taste still very much present. — a month ago

Deep honeyed citrus, well balanced. — 2 years ago
Crisp, bright, refreshing and juicy. Delicate and balanced, subtlety dry. Pear and pineapple in the aroma and taste. Great with food or sipping. Delightful. — 6 years ago

Nose is the apogee of elegant richness. Blind I might guess god’s condrieu. A touch of honey. Gorgeous.
Palate is honey. Minerals. Some other gorgeous stuff I can’t describe. Still so elegant. Rainwater of the gods.
As this aerates the internal aromatics are nectar like. Honey made from nectarine flowers.
Finish lingers like a lovers sweet kiss at dawn. — 4 years ago

375 ml. Gorgeous nose of peach, apricot, lightly honeyed, very bright. On the palate it’s quite intense but so nicely balanced. Almost a little tannic thing in the finish which shows the intensity. I know we’re drinking it young but we’re with my dad and he’s 94, and loves Riesling, so we’re living in the present. And the present here is pretty nice. — 15 days ago
