2023 Dr. Loosen Erdener Prälat Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel. On the nose honey, and tropical fruit: guava papaya, hint of spice; almost white pepper; tangerine, jasmine. On the palate, good concentration; honey more beautifully ripe mango (almost like a creamy mango lassi), tangerine, very nice apricots; slate minerality; a spine of acidity balances all the ripe fruit. The fruit quality shines here so I don’t feel bad drinking this young. — a month ago

@Severn Goodwin, I actually stopped buying Rieslings (German, to a lesser extent Alsatian and Australian), because we just don’t tend to drink them as often. Which is DUMB on my part, since whenever I do open them, lots of oohs and aahs around the table!
They are low ABV stars! We're huge fans.
