Fantastic buy. Aromas of grass, green veggies abound: asparagus, and green bell pepper. Hints of lime, salt, and lemon. Very rounded balance between just the right amount of acidity and citrus on the palate. Great minerality. Almost golden in color. 13% — 5 years ago
Blue and dark fruit with menthol, violets and slight notes of caramel and liquorice. That vivid and lush fruit is on thenpalate as well, a rich and full texture, envelopping and agreeable tannins make this wine approachable and impressive for that price, even if it’s not a grand right bank name.

Lovely and complex white burg Montrachet for a Saturday lunchtime charcuterie plate. Soaring acidity with stone fruits that’s balanced by the fattiness I love in a good white burg. The bouquet has some ethereal qualities that make it so fun to just nose for quite some time - stone fruits like apricot and peach. Long finish. No complaints here — 6 years ago

The bottling by Au Pied du Mont Chauve.
Vibrant, glass clinging purple red. Abundant nose of ripe black cherries in a wooden bowl. Belies the medium full palate, which is a complex melange of juicy black cherry, red apple, plum, and ripe blueberry all supported by bright medium plus acidity and firm (medium plus) tannins. Young but still satisfying, you'll get quite a bit from this Beaune. Should develop well through 2032 or so. — 3 years ago

Nice yellow orchard fruit and some honey with a palate that is medium bodied but with a nice backbone to it, fresh and pure fruit, nice length.

Wow. Excellent on the nose. An amazingly soft & delicate dance on the palette that twirls a classic chard with a soft vanilla and buttery background with just the right citrus finish. Need to buy more than one bottle at a time! — a year ago

Dark fruit with just a hint of oak with spices, and coca cola slightly. The wine is powerful, acidity is there and the ripe dark red fruit adds freshness to that full palate. The finish that is delicious, has a rustic side and some grip reminiscent of a good Nuits St-Georges. Despite that, a wine I really like in this vintage that has not yet convinced me. 90-91
Fruits noirs au nez avec un léger profil boisé, épices et coca cola. Le vin est puissant, une bonne acidité aussi, du fruit noir ou rouge foncé et assez mur en bouche qui apporte une belle fraîcheur. La finale, quand même délicieuse, a une touche de rusticité et de poigne qui est fidèle à un NSG digne de ce nom. Malgré tout un vin que j’aime bien dans ce millésime qui ne m’enchante pas toujours. 90-91
