Burst of blackberry aroma, earthy and smoky, with a hint of cigar aftertaste. Juicy and delicious, more than held its own with the Lafite Rothschild we also had at same dinner! — 7 months ago
Deep ruby color, medium plus intensity with aroma characteristics of black cherry, red plum and charred wood. Also some blackberry and clove on the palate. Medium plus acidity & medium tannins. High alcohol. Medium plus body and finish. Very good, drink or hold. — 3 years ago
Delicate balance but still a heady aroma; primarily developed dried fruit (mostly cherry) mixed in with oak, cedar, vanilla, and tobacco but not dominating the fruit. Very nice — 6 years ago
Blackberry and plum aroma. In the mouth it’s heavier, spicier, and hotter. It brings in wood, black pepper, and pretty strong acidity. It might settle down with some air. But first impressions is that it’s big and interesting, and a good value. — 7 years ago
Nose of black: pepper, currants, raspberries, and cherries. “Gets in the back of the nose and sorta singes the hairs in a good way!” JK. Dances on the tongue, like velvet. The strong aroma is quelled by the smoothness. (Note: I had creative help writing this.). Definitely buy again. — 8 years ago
One of the best vintages, inky fruits, plum, scents of floral, concentrated aroma, adorable and sweet smiling. A little flabby for me made it not a perfect night.

Full bodied, dark color, dry and consistent aroma and flavor. Delicious!! — 2 years ago
Aroma is uncanny; a perfume of rose petals and coconut cream wafting from the glass. Totally beguiling. Vanilla and marzipan lead the way with fresh and dried red berries, red cherries, dried flowers and orange peel. So polished, but this needs more time for the oak and fruit to integrate. The 2010 Ardanza remains my favorite now for its classical balance. — 5 years ago

Opened this and it filled the whole pool deck with aroma, vanilla, earth, grapes. Very smooth taste and not too grapey. A nice drink to savor or pair with steak or pasta. — 7 years ago
Great and tasty. A bit more acidic than I’d like it but well balanced and specially a great aroma. I think it’s quite fruity. — 8 years ago
This was a gift from a close friend who worked for Silver Oak as a garden manager until they eliminated that part of their business. Beautiful color in the glass. Ruby with a hint of rust on the edge. Aroma is complex with berries and flint. Also just a hint of pine needles. Christmas trees. Flavors are full and fine. This is BIG BOY wine. Delicious. — 5 months ago
Heavenly, fruit aroma, and smooth palate- very fruit forward, lower acidity and tannins, but balanced. Delicious! — 7 months ago
WOW! Haven't had wine this good since France...sigh. love this, so complex with a beautiful color. Lovely on the nose, I hesitate to drink it since the aroma is so pleasant. They should make candles that smell this nice. Beautifully balanced with just the right amount of earth, tannins, fruit. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ — 2 years ago
Wine tasting at Arrow. Big aroma. A classic Tuscan. Big dark fruit burst upfront with a perfect dryness of dark fruit. A blend with complexity. — 6 years ago
Great aroma and flavor but not too heavy. $13 — 7 years ago
Big and lush with huge gobs of fruit in aroma and flavor. Texture is soft and supple. Sweet vanilla character. Black cherry and blackberry in flavors and aromas. Subtle and complex; black currant and licorice aromas. Full body; ultra-fine tannins; fresh finish. Clean and refined. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Good aroma and even concentrated compared with 2012, from the beginning. Blackberry, licorice. Enough acidity, still need a decanting time. 2nd day, I found ink flavor. 4th day, much better in concentration and ink flavor. 2010 @2500, wine plus - XH , 180908-190330 — 8 years ago

2023 Vintage. A very pleasant and easy drinking Napa Cab up front. Decent aroma on the nose, vibrant notes of cherry and blackberry, delicately structured tannins, with a very smooth finish. Not chewy or viscous, but still a bold Cab flavor that resonates with the right amount of spice. Would gladly enjoy again. — 2 months ago
