I don’t know if I really like this or if I really don’t like it. Initially I thought it was subtle, simple and without character. It opened up nicely and was pleasant in the end to drink. Nothing overbearing. A hint of white pepper, lemon zest and elderflower on the nose. A shocking buttery texture with an off dry and light acidity finish. Paired it with grilled corvina fish. Wasn’t too bad. I would try again — 6 years ago
Wet hair, barnyard Coca Cola. Light red fruit. Medium tannins. Funky spanish red. Definitely old world esque. — 6 years ago
I found this 12 year old Spanish white wine by chance at a local store. The store worker had no idea about this brand. It was fun to taste. First off the color was a very dark hue of gold. The nose was the most interesting thing about it. Cooked down peach with honey and lavender. There was a touch of minerality in the background. The palate brought back memories of that Bit-O-Honey taffy candy without the sweetness. Good balance with acidity, alcohol. Finished totally dry. Fun find — 5 years ago
Definitely had that wet dog French funk on the nose. Great bramble red fruits. A little poblano and baking spice. Smooth tannins. Well balanced. This Chilean winemaker has obvious roots to the French style of carmenere. Worth picking up for the price. — 6 years ago
Super honeycomb. Nice and fruity. Aggressive bubbly and definitely dry. Over and beyond Prosecco. Great for celebrating — 6 years ago
Fun, quirky for Easter dinner. Served as aperitif. Appropriate for all ages and snacks before the holiday dinner. Light and sweet and refreshing. — 6 years ago
This was the only kind of stand out at a tiny hole in the wall LQ store. With all the usual commercial brands I chose this one out of desperation. Not a bad find for the price. Had good standard GSM notes. Slight chill was helpful. Surprisingly balanced. — 6 years ago
Great fruity wine. Deep warm spice and slight cream on the nose. Heavy red berry fruits. Tannins were balanced. This was a pleasant wine. — 6 years ago
I wish people would stop identifying this wine as sweet. Technically there is no R.S. It is very fruity and blueberry forward which I think is confusing for some palettes. It does show a bit acidity and light tannins which can taste unbalanced. It is on the cheaper end of the scale and is standard for what it is. Pair it with a fatty protein which will help the over abundance of fruit tones — 6 years ago

Like I bit into a ruby red grapefruit. Super balanced off dry palate. Wonderful with oysters and raw bar crab. I wish I had more in my cellar. — 5 years ago
