Wet hair, barnyard Coca Cola. Light red fruit. Medium tannins. Funky spanish red. Definitely old world esque.

Mar 4th, 2019This is really starting to loosen up & get good. Black black cassis & a sinewy, brambly undercurrent. Fine tannins starting to integrate. That smoky minerality thang the Canaries have in spades. Medium bodied but it’s a big wine snuck in. Didn’t decant- that will only help. Woman vintner. Bowler import.

Jul 24th, 2018Softer drinking Canary, very young in its development so will be curious how it shapes up, & also to try w a decant nxt time. Tightly wound. Plumb notes & integrated tannins now, much smoother than what Ive tasted from the Canaries so far.

Dec 19th, 2017Smells of black pepper in bacon fat.
Once the Brett blows off, the pumice and smoke come through, with high acidity and mouth puckering tannin.
Always seeking out those hard to find wi Es, I recommend trying the ones from the Canary Islands.
