Los Loros Valle de Güimar Listan Negro 2018

Dark berries, herbs, spice, and smoke. Medium body and well-concentrated flavor, but easy-drinking and refreshing. Enjoyable with a slight chill. Purchased at Brooklyn Wine Exchange in Brooklyn, NY. — a month ago

Palo Blanco Valle de la Orotava Listan Blanco 2016

I’m a huge fan of maritime climate wines. Lots of salty breezy air here. Nice acids. All in all a great bottle of wine — 24 days ago

Trenzado Blanco Tenerife Valle de la Orotava Listan Blanco Pedro Ximénez 2018

Amazing wine and a unique blend. Medium body sweet masterfully balanced mix of ripe sweet fruits and raisins with a long herbal, bitter almond, mineral finish that will set the bar soooo high that you’ll need more that luck to top this experience. On the nose it is a full rave... Decadent and tropical with the right amount of funk ! Canary Islands man !! Canary Islands ... Write it down ! — 3 months ago

Vidonia Valle de la Orotava Listan Blanco Cordon Trenzando 2018

Young Palomino from Tenerife. I know these wines are meant to be aged, but I enjoyed this 2018 bottle. It did not have the oxidation noted by many reviewers, but instead was a tropical-flavored wine with notes of pineapple and other fruits, that after being open for at least 30 minutes had a finish of vanilla and cream. Quite complex and enjoyable, but more of a Summer wine than one appropriate for dinner. Great for picnics. I’ll need to try an aged bottle some day to understand this wine. — 2 months ago

Farty, funky cherry cola. Touch of burned rubber. Let’s see if that dissipates. Truffles, sage, & thyme. Interesting stuff. — 3 months ago
