Softer flavors in this Pinot. Very tasty and easy to drink. — 6 years ago

Picked this baby up Nuit-Saint-George while touring France with the in-laws. Father-in-law currently in the cath lab for an inferior STEMI, so decided to break this one out of the archives. Best of luck, Ralph! — 6 years ago
Rounding into form. A lovely bottle to spend a couple evenings with. Definitely turning garnet, but still rich, bright, and warm. — 6 months ago

Silky, subtle, and really delicious. Less in your face than new world Pinot noir. — 6 years ago
Fruit. A beauty. — 7 years ago
Aromas of raisins and dried fruit. Light tanins, medium body/ mouth feel. Good legs. Taste is delicious with spice notes, a hint of dark red ripe cherry. — 6 years ago

From a family-run Vosne Romanee based producer.
The nose shows crunchy red cherry and raspberry, edged with sweet spice and a faint toasty note. On the palate, the fruit is vivid and forward, with firm, fresh acidity and polished tannins giving a slightly New World–leaning gloss, by Burgundy standards. Less earthy than classic Vosne at this stage, it finishes clean and energetic. Needs at least another 4-5 years to come together, though 2023 vintage is generally considered approachable young. — 15 days ago
