Vieilles Vignes Poulsard 2022

Very good blend of 40% Trousseau, 15% Poulsard, 45% Pinot Noir. Similar to a full red burg Pinot. A little more funk and acidity. Cherry and dried cranberries, light body. Had it 2 nights in a row, with eggplant parm and salad. — 14 days ago

Patchwork Chardonnay 2022

Delectable Wine
9.0

The 2022 Chardonnay Arbois Patchwork was bottled in March 2024. Opening with some reduction, time in the glass unearths wet stone and lemon flesh aromas. Anchored by zesty acidity, the 2022 is a well-built and tensile Chardonnay that walks off the stage with a tidy finish. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, August 2024)

Arbois Pupillin Ploussard 2019

So much structure & tannin in an almost rose body. Sour patch candied fruits, definitely funk which starts to burn off. Long. Paired w chicken piccata, with wine’s acid nicely echoing the capers & lemon in the dish. — 4 months ago

Singulier Trousseau

Had Tissot’s cuvée a few weeks ago and loved it so decided to try their 100% Trousseau. Decanted for about 20 min before diving in as we felt the cuvée benefited from air as we drank it. Red cherry, raspberry, some strawberry. The funky fruit character in the beginning blows off as it sits. A wine you can sit with and drink academically but also easy enough to drink without thought and blissfully enjoy. — a month ago

Tradition Arbois Poulsard-Trousseau Blend 2022

Delectable Wine
8.9

A blend of 40% Poulsard, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Trousseau, the 2022 Rouge Arbois Tradition displays bright red fruits alongside spicy elements. Subtle herbaceous accents add complexity, attributable to the use of approximately 20% stems from the Pinot Noir and Trousseau during fermentation. Concentrated and savory, the 2022 is neatly framed by ripe tannins and can be enjoyed over the next four years. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, August 2024)
