I recalled this as a sweet desert wine, but oh man I didn’t recall how much this was like and Italian port… so good. — 5 months ago
The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino wafts up with a mentholated freshness, hauntingly dark florals and crushed blackberries. It's round and supple, with ripe red fruits, licorice, bitter balsamic and cooling acidity. A sweet spice flourish emerges toward the close. $22.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous March 2024) — 8 months ago
We had the 2010 Vintage on 10/12/24. This Old World, medium bodied wine has all the ingredients for a real good Brunello. There are tastes of raspberry, strawberry, leather and spice. A nice finish. A reasonably priced wine from an excellent Vintage — a month ago

Good value. Nose on opening with prominent rose petals cherry and old leather furniture. Tannins prominent on opening. After 2+ hours of slow ox much more approachable. Palate with candied cherries, anise, holiday spice, leather and almonds. Lingering very dry leather and tobacco finish. One drawback is notable alcohol presence the first couple hours. More time in cellar needed before opening next bottle? — 3 months ago
Delightful and round with sweet red apple and ripe pear notes. Immediately ready to please. I was shocked at its openness and lack of any hint of sharpness or bitterness or noticeable acidity. Yum and yummer…first time trying this cuvée…. Won’t be the last. — 8 months ago
Grippy, tea-like orange, kinda like a flat Arnold Palmer or something. “Forty year old vines planted over sandy, alluvial soils in Ammerschwihr. The fruit was fermented as whole bunches for a fortnight before being pressed off to vats for a short élevage.” — 3 years ago
